The Tigers beat Notre Dame by 27 and Alabama by 28.Of course, by that metric, Syracuse was the toughest test that Clemson faced. The Orange nearly stunned Clemson for a second straight season during the regular season, giving up the lead late to fall 27-23.Either way, the Tigers went 15-0, capping one of the most impressive seasons in modern college football.
