Vanderbilt has Florida on upset alert and tempers are starting to flare between the players and coaches.During a punt return, a Florida player hit a Vanderbilt player with a crack-back block and was called for targeting. The Commodores held a 21-3 lead at one point in the contest, but enter halftime with a 21-13 lead.Can Vanderbilt hold on, or will the Gators find a way to complete the comeback?
President Maithripala Sirisena says a Presidential commission will be appointed to investigate allegations involving SriLankan Airlines and Mihin Lanka.He says the commission will be appointed once the Presidential commission which investigated the alleged treasury bond scam hands over its final report. The Minister had also said that his hands were tied in some aspects and so he was unable to do what he wanted to do. Minister of Public Enterprise Development Kabir Hashim had earlier this year called for strict action to be taken against a “mafia” at SriLankan Airlines. Hashim had said that action must be taken against some former and current SriLankan Airlines officials based on the J.C. Weliamuna Report on the National airline. (Colombo Gazette)
